My horse and I completed a 30 mile LD endurance ride this past Saturday. This was the first real test of the MID compression tights. I had worn them for shorter training rides but never this distance. I'm happy to report no issues and I do like the compression they offer.

I usually don’t write reviews but felt like these tights earned it. I used them as a base layer on Kilimanjaro, so they were worn for 6 days straight. They kept me cool and dry during day hikes but were warm and insulating during the below zero temps at night and on summit day. After 6 days of day and night wear they had NO smell once I took them off!! I seriously couldn’t believe it! They really felt like a second skin. Out of the package I was worried they would be too small, but they fit perfectly once I got them on and I quickly forgot I was wearing them because they were so comfortable. They were by far my favorite piece of gear on the whole expedition, I was so glad I took a chance and ordered them just before I left. The only thing I will say is that when I paired them with the below the knee compression socks it was too much compression and became painful, so I had to switch to normal wool socks, but that was my own fault since I was new to wearing compression gear. I wish I had ordered some of the ankle socks to pair with these because I really appreciate how the xoskin material prevents odor, and is comfortable in such a wide range of temperatures and activities. I’ll be using these for trail running, hiking, camping, biking, lifting, and my first ultra marathon! Honestly they’re great for so many different activities. If you’re on the fence, order these!! I was so happy I did!
