At XOSKIN™ we consider our products to be a unique engineered piece of gear with US patent status and everything about our product is made proudly in the USA. We therefore wanted to provide our consumer a unique double zip lock patented bag engineered and manufactured in the USA by Loksak. This piece of gear can be used to protect smart phones, small computers, keys, jewelry, maps, etc. while enjoying your adventure.
At XOSKIN™ we partnered with Clark Finishing located in Clearwater, Florida. Keeping in XOSKIN™ tradition of supporting USA made we chose Clark Finishing because of a long and proud history.
It really depends on you. Our RAPIDriCOPPER™ fabric for all tops, bottoms and socks are guaranteed to provide your skin comfort. Just use common sense and wear your products for its intended use; ie. And obviously, a runner who wears his or her bottom, top or socks every day will need to buy replacements sooner than a runner who takes his or her products out twice a year will. If you maintain your products properly, you can expect it to last.
Yes. However, RAPIDricCopper™ fabric doesn\\\'t have any special insulating qualities, so in really cold conditions, wearing extra layers will ensure that you stay warm and comfortable.
Just that: If you are not completely satisfied with the abrasion control and skin wellness, enhanced breathability, odor control, moisture movement and decreased weight of your XOSKIN™ product, then we will replace it, or refund your purchase price. If it has the XOSKIN™ label on it, we have certified that it meets our standard for its intended use.
Be sure to read the XOSKIN™ care tag first which is "seamlessly" knit into the bottom inside hem of all base-layer shirts. We recommend hand wash for bottoms, tops and socks knowing many consumers can often throw knits into the wash with velcro gloves, car towels, blue jeans, etc. If you chose to use the washing machine-wash your XOSKIN™ product in the washing machine in cold water on "delicate". Dry on "delicate" cycle or let air dry. For the best results, use a small amount of liquid detergent. Please do not use powder detergents or chlorine bleach and please avoid anything that contains velcro!
Wash your garment as often as you need to remove such impurities as dirt, campfire smoke and cooking odors.
You can use a gentle cycle that does not rigorously spin the garment. Reducing the spinning will minimize creasing or damage that can be caused by pulling and twisting the garment.
For best results, we recommend using liquid rather than powder detergents.
Most liquid detergents for home use recommend about one ounce per load.
You do not need to wash your XOSKIN™ garment by itself. You can wash it with similar garments that are not heavily soiled. We suggest a second rinse cycle to ensure that all of the detergent and soil are completely rinsed out of the garment.
Yes. Please avoid Velcro products. XOSKIN™ garments can become damaged if washed or put in the dryer with products that contain Velcro.
We do not recommend stain removers. Instead, we recommend using liquid detergent in the pre-wash cycle of your washing machine to remove stains and heavy soil. If your machine does not have a pre-wash cycle, simply soak the garment in cold water with liquid detergent.
Please do not use bleach with any XOSKIN™ garment. It could affect the color and performance of the garment.
We recommend line-drying your garment; it uses less energy and reduces your impact on the environment. However, you can use a dryer. We recommend low heat or dry on a delicate setting.
If you use a dryer, we recommend a gentle cycle with low heat. Because today’s high-efficiency dryers shut off as soon as the moisture rate inside the dryer reaches a certain level.
Yes, our products are environmentally sound. Their durable performance allows them to last longer, which is the most effective measure for making an environmentally sound choice in functional garments.
Due to the selection of advanced materials like PTFE and Copper and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, we deliver best-in-class products offering a high level of durability. Durability enables a long and useful lifetime of the finished product, resulting in substantial savings of raw materials and energy that would be otherwise required to manufacture multiple units of shorter-lived products.
While no manufacturing operation can be completely free from emissions and environmental impact, the Fabrics Division of XOSKIN™ makes significant efforts to minimize the effect of our manufacturing processes on the environment.
Our RAPIDriCOPPER™ fabric is an environmentally sound choice because it is manufactured responsibly and it\\'s durable performance allows apparel to last longer, reducing the use of natural resources and waste.
While some manufacturers of functional materials focus on only part of the story regarding the environmental profile of their products, we employ a Life Cycle Assessment approach that considers all aspects of our products. This starts with the production of raw materials by our suppliers and includes all elements of manufacturing and transportation. We even consider the impact of the washing and drying performed by the consumer over the lifetime of the garment.
